This page explains what data SLYDE may collect, how it is used, and the choices you have.
What SLYDE is
SLYDE is a social product for discovering and participating in events and communities, with features like profiles, invitations, and chat.
Data we may collect
- Account and authentication data (e.g. identifiers needed to sign in).
- Profile data you provide (e.g. name, photo, bio, interests, city).
- Event and community activity (e.g. memberships, invitations, participation, chat messages).
- Location if you grant permission (used to show nearby events and communities).
- Photos and media you choose to upload (e.g. profile pictures and event media).
- Device and notification tokens if you enable notifications.
- Diagnostics and basic analytics such as crash logs, performance signals, and debugging information, where enabled.
How we use data
- To create accounts and support login.
- To show relevant nearby events and communities.
- To enable event participation, invitations, chat, and community features.
- To maintain safety and help prevent abuse and fraud.
- To improve the app and fix bugs.
Authentication providers
SLYDE may support signing in with providers such as Apple, Google, and Telegram.
Data sharing
- Backend and hosting providers used to run the service (e.g. Supabase and related infrastructure).
- Apple / Google / Telegram for authentication where you choose those sign-in methods.
- Analytics or crash reporting tools, if enabled in the build.
Your choices and deletion
- You can change or revoke permissions in your device settings.
- You can request a copy of your data, or ask us to delete your account and associated personal data, by emailing support@joinslyde.com. We will verify your request and process it consistent with our obligations and the beta program.
