SLYDE
Community Guidelines
SLYDE is for real people meeting in real life. These rules apply in the app, in chats, and at events organized through SLYDE.
Harassment, hate, threats, and exploitation
Do not harass, stalk, or bully anyone. Do not post hate speech targeting people based on race, ethnicity, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or similar characteristics. Do not threaten violence. Sexual exploitation, non-consensual intimate imagery, and trafficking are prohibited.
Minors and the 18+ rule
SLYDE is only for people 18 and older. Do not create an account for a minor, invite minors, or post sexual content involving anyone who is or appears to be under 18. We will remove such material and may report it to authorities.
Impersonation, scams, spam, and dangerous activity
Do not impersonate another person or organization. Do not run scams, phishing, or pyramid schemes. Do not spam invites, messages, or events. Do not organize or promote illegal activity, weapons sales, or activities that create a serious risk of physical harm.
Event safety and consent
Hosts should describe events honestly, including who the event is for. Respect consent, personal space, and venue rules. Do not pressure anyone to attend, drink, or share private information. Hidden addresses and invite gates exist to protect guests — do not leak them to people who were not invited.
Prohibited content
- Pornography or graphic sexual content that is not appropriate for a public social app.
- Violent extremist content, or content that praises terrorism.
- Malware, doxxing, or publishing someone’s private information without consent.
- Stolen intellectual property you do not have the right to share.
Reporting and blocking
Use in-app Block to stop contact. Use Report to flag people, messages, or events. Include enough context for us to review. False reports that are meant to harass someone can themselves be a violation.
Moderation and appeals
We may remove content, limit features, or suspend or terminate accounts. If you think a decision was wrong, email support@joinslyde.com from the address on your account. We review appeals when we can; we do not guarantee reinstatement.
Emergencies
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. SLYDE cannot dispatch police or medical help. After you are safe, you can report the account or event in the app.
